Major Barrington Griffiths

Major Barrington W. Griffiths volunteered as a Cayman Islands Cadet Corps member in February 2005 and has served the CICC diligently for approximately eighteen (18) years. 

Major Griffiths has served the Corps as a platoon commander, Detachment Commander and, in his most recent appointment, as Officer Commanding Alpha Company.
Major Griffiths is passionate about imparting his knowledge, skills, and experience by providing true-to-life scenarios to the cadets under his command.

He also received the Commandant’s Award for outstanding leadership and exceptional volunteerism, CICC Tenth Anniversary Medal, the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal, and the disaster mitigation medal for service during covid 19 epidemic.  

The Ministry of Education employs Major Griffiths as a teacher at the John Gray High School teacher.
